Description

Crispy oven-roasted chickpeas tossed with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt for a healthy crunchy snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned chickpeas and dry them very well using a clean dishtowel or paper towel.
  2. Place the chickpeas in a medium bowl and toss with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the chickpeas evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the chickpeas from the oven and transfer them back to the bowl.
  7. Add smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, and salt. Toss well until evenly coated.
  8. Return the chickpeas to the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for another 10 minutes until browned and crispy.
  10. Serve warm for the best crunchy texture.
