This one-pan chicken with asparagus is an easy, healthy dinner made with lemon, garlic, and simple pantry ingredients. Perfect for busy weeknights, family meals, or meal prep with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients

1 ½ pounds chicken breast (2–3 large breasts)

Kosher salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon sweet paprika

½ cup all-purpose flour (more if needed)

Extra virgin olive oil

1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally into 2-inch pieces

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup white wine

Juice of 1 lemon

½ cup chicken broth (low sodium)
Instructions

Pat the chicken breasts dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.

Lightly dredge each piece in flour, shaking off excess.

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove to a plate.

In the same skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil if needed, then add asparagus. Cook 3–4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.

Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in white wine and scrape up browned bits. Simmer 2 minutes.

Stir in lemon juice and chicken broth. Return chicken to the pan.

Simmer 5–6 minutes until sauce is slightly glossy and chicken is cooked through.
