This honey garlic chicken breast skillet dinner is sweet, sticky, and ready in just 25 minutes. Made in one pan with simple pantry ingredients, it’s the perfect easy weeknight dinner recipe the whole family will love.
Ingredients

500 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breast (2 pieces)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter (or 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil)

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)

1 tbsp light or all-purpose soy sauce
-
1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup)
Instructions

Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create thinner cutlets. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

Lightly coat the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted and foamy, add the chicken.

Cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.

Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant .

Stir in vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce becomes slightly thick and glossy .

Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Cook for 1–2 more minutes until well coated and sticky.

Remove from heat and serve immediately
