Description

These healthy ground turkey garlic noodles are quick, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights. Made with lean protein, tender noodles, and a savory garlic-hoisin sauce, this easy dinner recipe is better than takeout and ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 sweet onion, diced

  • 2 celery stalks, diced

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 9 oz refrigerated Chinese noodles

  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it apart until no longer pink.

  2. Add diced onion and celery. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant.

  3. Stir in ginger paste, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until aromatic

  4. In a small bowl, whisk beef broth and cornstarch until smooth. Pour into the skillet.

  5. Add hoisin sauce and soy sauce. Stir well and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and looks glossy

  6. While the sauce simmers, cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain well.

  7. Add noodles to the skillet and toss until evenly coated. Cook 1–2 minutes to absorb flavor

  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving
