Description

This easy taco dip is creamy, flavorful, and perfect for parties, game days, and potlucks. No baking required and ready in minutes with simple ingredients and bold Tex-Mex flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (455 g) brick-style cream cheese, softened

  • 2 cups (450 g) sour cream

  • 4 tablespoons (30 g) taco seasoning

  • 1 cup finely chopped lettuce

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, seeds removed and finely chopped

  • ½ cup (65 g) sliced olives

  • Sliced jalapeños (pickled or fresh), optional

  • 1¼ cups (145 g) finely shredded sharp cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese

  • Corn chips, for serving

Instructions

  • Mix the base: In a large bowl, add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Beat until smooth and fluffy, about 1–2 minutes

  • Season: Sprinkle in taco seasoning. Mix again until fully blended and evenly colored.

  • Spread: Transfer the creamy mixture to a serving dish and spread into an even layer.

  • Top it off: Evenly sprinkle lettuce, tomatoes, olives, jalapeños (if using), and shredded cheese over the top

  • Chill or serve: Serve immediately, or refrigerate for 30 minutes for a slightly firmer texture.

  • Enjoy: Serve with corn chips and watch it vanish
