¼ cup butter, melted

1 package frozen cinnamon rolls (12 rolls) or 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls, cut into quarters

4 large eggs

½ cup heavy whipping cream

⅓ cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Cream cheese frosting (from cinnamon roll package)

Prepare the pan: Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Tilt and swirl until the bottom is fully coated.

Cut the rolls: Slice cinnamon rolls into quarters and arrange evenly in the dish.

Make the custard: In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth and well blended.

Pour & soak: Slowly pour the mixture over the cinnamon rolls, making sure all pieces are coated.

Chill (optional): Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight for best flavor and texture

Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until puffed and set but still soft in the center.
