Description

Ingredients

  • ¼ large cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 6 flat beans (or 12 green beans), sliced

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 15 g butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prep the vegetables
    Thinly slice the cabbage, onion, and beans. Mince the garlic finely so it cooks evenly.

  2. Heat the pan
    Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and olive oil (if using). Heat for about 30 seconds until melted and lightly foamy .

  3. Cook the onion and garlic
    Add sliced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft and slightly translucent. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant .

  4. Add cabbage and beans
    Add cabbage and beans to the skillet. Toss well to coat in the butter mixture.

  5. Sauté until tender
    Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender with lightly golden edges.

  6. Season and serve
    Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm as a side dish .
