Description

This dump-and-go crockpot creamy smoked sausage pasta is the ultimate easy dinner. Made with smoked beef sausage, pasta, cheese, and bold Cajun flavor, it’s a slow cooker meal perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (13 oz) pack smoked beef sausage, sliced into coins

  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic

  • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth (about 2 cups)

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies

  • 8 ounces dry bowtie pasta

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the sausage into even, bite-sized coins and add them directly to the crockpot.

  2. Add garlic, chicken broth, heavy cream, Rotel, dry pasta, and Cajun seasoning. Stir gently so the pasta is mostly submerged.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5–3 hours, stirring once halfway through to prevent sticking.

  4. When the pasta is tender and the sauce looks creamy, stir in shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Cover again and cook for 5–10 minutes, just until the cheese melts and the sauce turns glossy and thick

  6. Stir well, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot and enjoy
