Description

This crispy Parmesan-crusted chicken breast is golden, juicy, and ready in just 15 minutes. A quick skillet dinner packed with cheesy flavor and perfect crunch ideal for busy weeknights or easy comfort meals.


Ingredients

  • 500 g / 1 lb chicken breast (2 pieces)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 125 g / 4 oz / 1¼ cups shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

  • Mix the egg: In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg with minced garlic until smooth.

  • Coat with Parmesan: Place shredded Parmesan on a plate. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then press firmly into the Parmesan to coat both sides evenly.

  • Heat the pan: Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and sizzling.

  • Cook the chicken: Add chicken to the pan. Cook for 4 minutes per side, pressing gently for full contact, until the crust is deep golden and crispy .

  • Check doneness: Chicken should be cooked through and juicy inside. Rest for 1–2 minutes before serving for best texture
