Description

This easy apple cinnamon biscuit bake is soft, gooey, and topped with a rich cream cheese icing. Perfect for brunch, holidays, or a quick apple dessert using refrigerated biscuits.

Cinnamon Apple Biscuits

  • 1 (16.3 oz) can large refrigerated biscuits, cut into 46 pieces

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (add more if desired)

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced into small cubes

  • ½ cup pecans, lightly salted or raw (optional)

Cream Cheese Icing

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar

  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk of choice

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • A couple pinches salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  2. Cut the biscuits into 4–6 bite-size pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Add melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Toss gently until every piece is coated.

  4. Fold in the diced apples and pecans, mixing just until evenly distributed

  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.

  6. Bake for 28–32 minutes, until the biscuits are puffed and golden and the apples are tender.

  7. While it bakes, whisk together all icing ingredients until smooth and pourable.

  8. Drizzle icing over the warm bake and let it set for 5 minutes before serving
