Cream Cheese Frosting

6 ounces cream cheese, softened

3 tablespoons butter, softened

1½ cups confectioners’ sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat eggs, oil, and sugar for 2–3 minutes until slightly lighter in color.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

Stir in vanilla, diced apples, and walnuts until evenly distributed .

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool completely before frosting .

Beat cream cheese, butter, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
